National Law University, Jodhpur, through its Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy Studies and in collaboration with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, is pleased to announce the Fourth NLUJ-IBBI Online Certificate Course on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, 2026, to be held from October 08-13, 2026.
Building on the success of its previous three editions, the Course returns this year with the theme “Beyond a Decade: The IBC in Transition”, reflecting on the evolution of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code over the past ten years and the legal, regulatory and commercial developments likely to shape its next phase. The six-day online programme will bring together leading practitioners, policymakers, regulators and academics for focused sessions on contemporary developments in insolvency and restructuring.
A significant feature of the Course is its emphasis on practical exposure. Merit-based internship opportunities will be offered to top-performing eligible participants with organisations including Khaitan & Co, Wadia Ghandy & Co., the Insolvency Law Academy, and other leading law firms, think tanks, chambers and practitioners. The programme will also include career-oriented interactions, structured assessments, publication considerations with Solventia – Journal of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws (ISSN: 3139-6879 and eISSN: 3108-2548) and opportunities for direct engagement with professionals working across the field.
The previous editions of the Course have collectively attracted more than 1,300 participants, reflecting the growing interest in structured academic and professional engagement with insolvency and bankruptcy law.
