NLUJ signed a MoU with India Child Protection

National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Child Protection (ICP), New Delhi to promote research, academic collaboration and capacity building in the areas of child protection, digital safety, child rights and human rights.

The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Vice-Chancellor, NLUJ, and Mr Rajat Kumar, Trustee, India Child Protection, in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Shilohu Rao, Research Director, Centre of Excellence at NLUJ, and Ms Rachna Tyagi, Legal Counsel, India Child Protection.

Under the MoU, NLUJ and India Child Protection will explore collaboration in the following areas:

  • Academic and professional development: Certificate courses, training programmes and other capacity-building initiatives.
  • Research and publications: Joint research studies, publications, knowledge resources and academic or policy-oriented outputs.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Capacity building and knowledge exchange for law enforcement agencies, legal professionals, educators and civil society organisations.
  • Student engagement: Internships, field-based learning opportunities and outreach activities.
  • Academic events: Seminars, workshops, conferences, lectures and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.
