NLU Jodhpur and NLIU Bhopal Sign MoU to Strengthen Academic Collaboration

National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ) and the National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance academic collaboration, research, and knowledge exchange.

The MoU was formally signed by Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Vice Chancellor, NLUJ, and Prof. (Dr.) S. Surya Prakash, Vice Chancellor, NLIU Bhopal, in the presence of faculty members, researchers, and students from both institutions.

As part of the agreement, the two universities will:

  • Facilitate the exchange of students, faculty, and researchers.
  • Undertake joint research projects and collaborative publications.
  • Organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and training programs.
  • Develop joint academic courses, outreach initiatives, and capacity-building programs.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, said- “The MoU embodies the spirit of cooperation among leading law universities in India. By combining our strengths, we can contribute more effectively to the advancement of legal education, research, and policy-making in the country.”

Prof. (Dr.)  S.Surya Prakash, said- “This collaboration with NLUJ represents not just a formal agreement, but a commitment to creating vibrant academic spaces where ideas can flourish. Together, we aspire to provide our students and researchers with broader horizons and impactful opportunities.”

This MoU marks the beginning of a long-term partnership that underscores the shared vision of NLUJ and NLIU Bhopal to nurture innovation in legal pedagogy, promote interdisciplinary learning, and make meaningful contributions to society through education and research.
