Mr. Shubhendu Shekhar a student of B.A., LL. B (Constitutional Law Hons) at National Law University, Jodhpur Batch 2017-2022 has won the prestigious Chevening Scholarship 2024-2025 for pursuing M.Sc. in Criminal Justice Policy at London School of Economics and Political Science.
The scholarship shall cover tuition fees, travel to and from India, an arrival allowance, visa cost, a departure allowance, TB testing, a travel allowance, a monthly personal living allowance for accommodation and living expenses during the tenure of his study at LSE.
Mr. Shekhar opines that the scholarship shall help fulfil his “dream of representing the marginalised and vulnerable people under an accessible justice system” and accelerate the current work of his NGO ‘Law Foundation’ in the field of access to justice for under trials.
