Yuvardha 2011 (October 7-9) lived up to all the hype that surrounded it
leading up to the event. With participation of around 500 students from more
than 15 law schools across India, the campus of National Law University Jodhpur
turned into the cynosure of the best legal sporting talent available in the
country. The event began with the opening ceremony on the 6th of October with
the contingent leaders taking the pledge, promising to abide by all the rules
for the glory of sport and the honor of their respective teams. Shri Ratan
Lahoti, the Registrar inaugurated the official scoreboard which declaring
the games "Open." This was followed by the three day sports extravaganza with
all the events keenly contested and some went down to the wire making it the
highlight of this year. The hosts NLU Jodhpur emerged as the Overall winners
but as a part of sporting tradition passed it on the next highest point scoring
team NLIU Bhopal. The "Spirit of Yuvardha" was given to the second runners
up, RGNUL Patiala for their zealous participation and performance. Enlisted

These were the principal events supplemented by various other events like
Carrom, Chess, Arm Wrestling, Lemon and Spoon Race, Sack Race etc which were
all keenly contested and received huge particiapation. The event concluded
with the prize distribution ceremony.
