Center for Intellectual Property Law caters to the need of society in general and industries in particular. The growth in IPR violations has been fueled in part by the spread of enabling technology allowing for simple and low-cost duplication of copyrighted products, as well as by the rise in organized crime groups that smuggle and distribute counterfeit merchandise for profit. This requires updating both the society and the industry, the CIPLAW attempts to fulfill this objective of updation and also suggests the Government on amendments and efficient implementation of intellectual property laws in India.
