Path breaking Alumni Accomplishments

Civil Services:

  • Avi Prasad (Batch of 2011-PG) secured 13th Rank in the All India Civil Service Examinations, 2013.
  • Chakravarty Singh Rathore (Batch of 2009) secured 85th Rank in the All India   Civil Service Examinations, 2013.
  • Nishant Kumar (Batch of 2011) secured 416th Rank in the All India Civil Service Examinations, 2013
  • Gaurav Singh (Batch of 2011) secured 825th Rank in the All India Civil Service Examinations, 2013
Other outstanding achievments:
  • Shashank Kumar (Batch of 2010) became the first Indian to become a law clerk to a judge of the International Court of Justice (The Hague, Netherlands) under the Yale Law School International Court of Justice Clerkship Programme.
  • Vaibhav Kakkar (Batch of 2006) was made Partner at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices. (He was made partner in a very short time. He is the first partner from NLU Jodhpur in a premier law firm in India.)  
  • Tejas Chetlangi (Batch of 2007) founded his own firm (with another lawyer) named IC Legal. He is a partner there.
  • Aman Bhattacharya (Batch of 2012) received an award from the Oxford Global Justice Internship Programme to pursue a six month internship at the International Criminal Court, The Hague. He also received the 2013 Oxford Pro Bono Publico Internship Fund Award Section 27, Braamfontein (Johannesburg), South Africa in the last week of April 2014.


AbhijayNegi Wins Damodarshree Award, 2011 with the prize money of 1 lakh

AbhijayNegi, student of B.P.Sc. LLB I Year, NLU Jodhpur won the Damodar Shree National Award for Academic Excellence in Allahabad on 2 October, 2011. The prestigious award carried a cash prize worth Rs. 100000/- along with a trophy, books and a memento.

The SaraswatiKhatriPathshala Society organised a two tier essay writing competition in the memory of Late Mr. DamodarKhanna on the topic “Education and Nation Building”. 175 entries were received on the first level out of which the 10 best entries were invited for presentation and defence of their essays at S.S. Khanna Girls Degree College, Allahabad.

Justice GyanSudha Mishra was the Chief Guest and Ms. BarkhaDutt was the Guest of Honour for the Competition.
