Herbert Smith Free Hills (HSF), one
of the World's well-known law firms, organised a pan-India competition
among law students engaged in some kind of community investment through
social work. Abhijay Negi, who graduated from NLU Jodhpur this year and
is pursuing his masters in law on full scholarship from the University
of Oxford had made an entry for the competition and has won the same
among some quality entries from across the the country.The entry was ro
be submitted in the form of an application and a video entry showcasing
the work being claimed.
Abhijay's entry was
made on behalf of his self founded student activist group, Making a
Difference by Being the Difference (MAD).
India Head, Chris Parsons hosted a special Award's dinner for MAD
members on September 26 at the Imperial Hotel in New Delhi.
had started with MAD just before joining NLU Jodhpur and the five year
old NGO is one of the most well known environment conservation oriented
organisations in his hometown Dehradun.
MAD intends to use this victory to provide an impetus to its ongoing wall transformation campaign.
