NLU and IMT offer a collaborative Ph.D. program in the field of Management, Science and Technology, Law, Humanities and other emerging and interdisciplinary areas such as IPR and Cyber Law & Security etc. The tenure of the research is minimum 2 and maximum 4 years. Candidates have to essential possess 55% in their post graduation to be eligible for undertaking research. They have to essentially pass an exam in Research Methodology and fulfil the residential requirements at either of the Institutes to be eligible for the degree. A combined Research Board comprising from both the Institute has been formed for overseeing all matters related to research and technical assistance |

| NLU and IMT-CDL run a collaborative M.S. in Cyber Law and Security. The program has been initiated to develop techno-legal professionals possessing the highly sought after blend of technology along with an in depth knowledge of the complex nuances of cyber law. The course aims to develop the skills to imbibe cyber security issues with a technological background and then relate them to complex cyber world legal problems. The tenure of this MS program is minimum 2 years and maximum 4 years. Candidates have to possess minimum 50% in graduation in any discipline to be directly admitted to this course. A total number of 16 papers are offered in this distance learning course along with contact classes at regular intervals. Exams for this course are conducted regularly at the campus of both the Institutions. |

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a joint organization of Institutions of Higher Education in Germany. It seeks to promote international academic collaborations and invited Vice Chancellors of 3 Law Schools namely NLU, NLSUI and NUJS to visit prominent German Universities and gain an insight into the Higher Education set-up in Germany with a view to explore possibilities of academic linkages between the two countries. DAAD has liberally agreed to grant scholarships to NLU Jodhpur students for pursuing higher education in Germany. We have also entered into fruitful exchange program with some of the leading Universities of Germany for student exchange and conducting joint research. There has been regular exchange of students between National Law University, Jodhpur and Freiburg University students. The faculty of both the universities has visited each university. Prof. Maximilian Haedicke is our Visiting Professor.
