Kartikey Mahajan graduated from NLU Jodhpur in 2011. He is currently an associate in Kirkland & Ellis International LLP’s international arbitration and litigation group in London. Before that, Kartikey worked with Clifford Chance in Singapore.He represents private parties and state entities in institutional, ad-hoc and treaty arbitrations around the world. He has also represented clients in litigation proceedings in various jurisdictions like the United Kingdom, Dubai, India, Singapore, Hong-Kong, Croatia, Iraq and Lebanon. Kartikey is qualified to practice in England & Wales, the State of New York and India. His experience spans across energy, infrastructure, private equity, banking and construction industries.
Kartikey has done an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, USA where he was a J.N. Tata and K.C. Mahindra Scholar. At Harvard, he was also the Submissions Editor for Harvard International Law Journal and a Co-Chair at the Harvard International Arbitration Conference. He has authored several articles and book chapters. His blog posts have been published by the Kluwer Arbitration Blog and the Practical Law Arbitration Blog, among others. He also regularly undertakes speaking engagements at Arbitration and Dispute Resolution related conferences around the world and has spoken at New Delhi, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, New York, etc.
