The faculty also includes Scholars of Fulbright and other Institutions. In addition NLUJ invites distinguished Professors as visiting faculty for lectures. Dr. Archi Mathur, M.Sc., M.B.A., Ph.D. She is an Associate Professor. She specializes in Marketing Management and Strategic Management. She has taught a wide range of management topics from the basic subjects like Principles of Management and Organisational Behaviour to the core specialized topics of marketing like Marketing Management, Service Marketing, Advertising & Sales Promotion. Her basket of teaching also involves diverse subjects like Operational Research, Business Communication, Sales & Distribution Management, Business Communication, Business Environment, Strategic Management and Retail Management. She is a postgraduate in Chemistry and Management and has qualified the National Eligibility Test. She also has a diploma in International Trade Management and her doctoral work is on the emerging trends in advertising in relation to Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Currently, she is holding the office of The Controller of Examination. She has also undertaken other administrative responsibilities. She is also being invited by various institutions to deliver lectures on fundamental educational concepts like student handling, non-verbal communication, art of speaking and so on.

Dr. Shyam Krishan Kaushik (Law)

Shri S K Kaushik holds an LL.B. and LL.M. from Delhi University. He is the Assistant Dean (Faculty of Law) and also Executive Director of the Centre for Legal Theory at the National Law Uni-versity Jodhpur. He teaches and writes in the field of Jurisprudence, Family Laws, Interpretation of Statutes, Commercial Transactions and Contracts. In particular he writes and speaks on the issues of Sovereignty, Rights, Moral Responsibility, Selfhood etc. His favoured area of research is Vedic Hindu philosophies on which he very often relies to compare and analyse the western jurisprudential ideas. He regularly speaks on these issues at National and International conferences. His published work includes books on Interpretation of Statutes, Sale of Goods and Trusts & Charities. He has been teaching law for eighteen years and his experience includes teaching at Delhi University and the Indian Law Institute.

Dr. Gargi Chakrabarti (Law)

Dr. Gargi Chakrabarti is Associate Professor, Coordinator Govt. of India Chair on IPR, Coordinator UGC-GIAN Project, National Law University, Jodhpur. She has awarded PhD in Intellectual Property Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and MPhil from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She has more than nine years of teaching and research experience. She was earlier Assistant Professor in NLU Jodhpur and in School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore and was Research Associate, MHRD Chair on IPR, National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Her areas of interest include Intellectual Property Law, Cyber Law, Competition Law and Environment Law. Her achievements includes (1) participating UNDP-GEF ABS Project, (2) heading Science & Heritage Research Initiative (SHRI) in Rajasthan with Dept of Science & Technology, Govt. of Rajasthan – initiative for GI of Rajasthan, (3) participated in 13th Colloquium for Teachers of Intellectual Property organized by the WIPO & WTO in Geneva in 2016, (4) Visiting Scholar to School of Law, University of Washington in 2015, and (5) WIPRO Earthian Prize winner in 2015.

Her participation in international projects include, (i) International University of Washington – Google Project on Intermediary Liability, where her research topics were Intermediary Liability on Hate Speech and Intermediary Liability on Child Protection in 2015 and (ii) Case Book Writing Project of ARICALA: Chapter 7 – Choice of Jurisdiction and Law in Cross-border Copyright Litigation, Case book Annotated Leading Copyright Cases in Major Asian Economies, to be published in 2018-2019 by Applied Research Centre for Intellectual Assets and the Law in Asia (ARCIALA), Singapore Management University. She has 25 national and international publications in her credit, and she is extending her research support to provide policy advice to Government of India and Government of Rajasthan.

Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh is working as Associate Professor. He is postgraduate in law from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has professional experience as lawyer of two years. He has attended workshops and conferences at various levels in relation to IPR and Taxation. His area of interest is Taxation and commercial Laws. He is Executive Director, Centre for Tax Laws. Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh has done his doctorate (PhD) from National Law University on the topic “Double Taxation: Problem & Prospects (A study with special reference to Permanent Establishment)". He has headed and worked diligently as a member of various functional committees at the university.
