With active support of the Reserve Bank of India the Centre for Studies in Banking and Finance (CSBF) was established. The Centre is a specialty professional consultancy group and works as an extended arm of the University to provide professional services to institutional clients like Governments, Financial Regulators, Financial Institutions and Corporates. The Centre is involved in studies in Management of Banking and Financial institutions, Business Strategy, Risk Management and various financial sector legal reforms. The Centre apart from carrying out research has successfully conducted various workshops for bank officers and corporates. The Centre has undertaken and successfully completed a number of projects such as financial fraud and regulatory mechanism to prevent, investigate, prosecute and regulate financial fraud, regulatory framework of lending instruments, secured lending instruments and legal framework, Securitization and regulatory framework, Law relating to Lender's liability , Derivative Trading in India , E-Banking, etc.
