During the post crisis inflationary era where top PSU banks like SBI still need infusion of capital by the government and witness steady decline in BANKEX, it is imperative to have a relook at the literature of Bank (Capital) Management. Standing on the juncture of liberalization of interest rate on savings account on the one hand and on the other hand successive hikes in repo rate, the CSBF, a place of professional academics, plans the following activities regarding Macro-econometric Modeling, Corporate Governance and other related areas in Business Administration in the context of Bank Management and Central Banking: (a) writing working papers with an aim to submit to portals of academic and financial institutions, (b) publishing articles and books with reputed publishers, (c) holding workshops and training programmes, and (d) editing and reviewing journals - keeping the focus on Financial Economics and Risk Management because Basel III is closing in.
