Centre for Advanced Research & Training in Arbitration Law – CARTAL
Arbitration has emerged as the most viable dispute resolution mechanism particularly in the context of commercial transactions involving cross-border trade and business. As a result, the Law of Arbitration as a specialised branch of study has gained acceptance in the curriculum of law schools across the globe. The Centre for Advanced Research & Training in Arbitration Law [CARTAL] has been established with the objective of training the future lawyers in the theory and practice of arbitration and providing a platform for the academia to contribute its part in the development of jurisprudence through intense research. The Centre aims at providing a high-level academic forum for the exchange of ideas on salient issues and current developments in the field of International Arbitration and aspires to cultivate it as an area of distinctive focus, in terms of both student and faculty engagements and outreach programmes.
