- Practiced as Chartered Accountant from July 1964 till May 1989.
- Elevated as Member of ITAT in May 89 and was posted at Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Jodhpur and retired in February, 2004.
- Presently he is again in Profession at Jodhpur.
- In the year 1976-77 was the first Secretary, of Jodhpur Branch of ICAI of CIRCI.
- In the year 1983-84 was Chairman of the Jodhpur Branch of CIRCI of ICAI.
- Chief Editor of Current Tax Reporter for about 20 years till he joined Tribunal in 1989.
- Presently he is again Honarary Chief Executive Editor of Current Tax Reporter from 2004.
- A Faculty Member, Chairman, Panel Speaker in Technical Session in National Seminars on Direct and Indirect Taxes.
- Co-Opted Member of Fiscal Law Committee of ICAI during his tenure at Delhi posting in ITAT in 1997-98.
- Appointed by the Hon'ble Rajasthan High Court as Auditor of Companies in Liquidation including representing their Income Tax cases & appeals.
- Had delivered about 15000 judgments in his tenure as Member, ITAT.
