The Committee for Academics was established with the objective of ‘Empowering Everyone’. It facilitates and coordinates academic and co-curricular activities of the student body supplementing the same with support classes, seminars, discussions and debates. The core activity of the Committee involves organization of special or additional classes for specific subjects as and when required by the students. The Committee is also involved in promotion and encouragement of literary activities on and off campus. Every year the Committee organizes an intra-college fest – The ‘Light Bulb’ featuring events like Parliamentary Debate, Legal Quiz, ‘Know Your University Quiz’, Extempore Moot Court Competition, JAM etc. In the past, the Committee has also organized an All India Inter-college Essay Competition – ‘Noesis’. The Committee is the nodal body facilitating the participation of the University in various inter-college debates, law fests, and various other co-curricular competitions.
